Econergy invests €165 million to increase stake in UK subsidiary Econergy International Limited

Econergy agreed to invest €165 million, raising its ownership in Econergy International Limited from 77.11% to 79.26%. The equity injection comes via a share subscription agreement that also involves minority shareholders RGreen’s Infragreen IV, Infragreen V and Ecogreen Corporate. The transaction values the UK subsidiary at approximately €1.595 billion post‑money. By increasing its stake, Econergy strengthens its control over the subsidiary’s renewable portfolio in the United Kingdom. The deal was announced in a press release on 30 June 2026.
