EDP Renewables Canada Ltd., in partnership with Caldwell First Nation, completed a land purchase from the City of St. Thomas for the 75 MWac (300 MWh) Edgeware energy storage project in St. Thomas, Ontario, which was awarded a 20-year contract by the Ontario IESO and targets commercial operation in 2027.
