Eiffel Investment Group and Arkéa Asset Management provide €185 million financing to Svea Solar Utility for Swedish solar PV and battery storage expansion

Svea Solar Utility secured a €185 million holding company financing facility from Eiffel Investment Group and Arkéa Asset Management to expand its renewable energy independent power producer platform in Sweden. The financing will fund the development, construction, and operation of utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, including a 120 MW solar project expected to become Sweden’s largest solar PV plant upon completion later in 2026. The company currently operates and has under construction 220 MW of solar PV capacity, with plans to grow its operational portfolio to over 2 GW within five years. Jean-Charles Arrago of Eiffel Investment Group highlighted the quality and maturity of Svea Solar Utility’s portfolio as a key factor in the investment decision.
