Eiffel Investment Group provided a holding company debt facility to finance the merger of Verdant Energy and Aura Power Developments. The financing will consolidate the two businesses, refinance existing junior debt, and supply committed capital for development projects in the United Kingdom. The combined platform will operate about 1 GW of solar and battery storage assets in operation or under construction, with a further 2.5 GW pipeline. CVC DIF became the majority shareholder of the merged entity through its DIF Infrastructure VII fund, positioning the new Aura Power brand as a tier‑1 renewable player in the UK market. Advisors Akereos Capital, CMS, Watson Farley & Williams, DNV and PwC supported the transaction, which was announced on 14 September 2026.
