EMMVEE signed a supply agreement with RENA Technologies and centrotherm for multi‑GW follow‑up equipment for its 1.4 GW TOPCon solar cell production line. The order includes several units of BatchTex 3 N600, InEtchSide 4+ BSG, InEtchSide 4+ PSG, BatchEtch 3 N600 and BatchPolyClean 3 N600. The equipment will be installed at EMMVEE’s new TOPCon facility in Bengaluru, India, expanding the line’s capacity beyond the initial 1.4 GW. The deal underscores German engineering’s role in supporting India’s fast‑growing photovoltaic manufacturing sector. RENA Technologies highlighted the water‑, chemistry‑ and power‑saving design of the tools, which aim to lower operating expenses for the fab. EMMVEE did not disclose the financial value of the agreement.
