Encavis signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Alfa Laval Spa, the Italian subsidiary of Swedish multinational Alfa Laval AB, securing the supply of approximately 22.9 GWh of renewable electricity annually from the Pozzolo solar park. The 30.36 MW solar project, located in the province of Alessandria, Italy, will deliver clean energy to multiple Alfa Laval production sites across the country under the agreement. The PPA includes guarantees of origin (GoO) with full transparency down to the generation plant level, ensuring traceability of the renewable energy supply. Encavis emphasized the deal as part of its diversified commercial portfolio in Italy, which also includes FER X programs and the Energy Release 2.0 initiative. The company indicated additional projects are already in development to further expand its renewable energy supply agreements in Europe.
