Endeavour launches Pact Systems for hydrogen and solid-carbon co-production
Type: Development · Technology: Hydrogen · Announced: 2026-03-27
Endeavour, the parent company of data center firm Edged, has launched Pact Systems, a new division offering a scalable hydrogen and solid-carbon co-production technology. The Pact system utilizes a continuous-flow, closed-loop methane cracking process that can operate on natural gas or biomethane feedstocks. This proprietary technology passes methane through a low-temperature catalytic reactor, separating hydrogen fuel and converting the remaining gaseous carbon into solid graphite. Jakob Carnemark, CEO and founder of Endeavour, stated that the Pact system fills a gap for low-carbon options deployable at the scale and cost needed for AI campuses and heavy industry, providing clean hydrogen while capturing carbon into critical materials. Ebner, a German family-owned company specializing in heat treatment facilities, is Endeavour's manufacturing partner for the offering, with Pact systems exclusively available through Edged Infrastructure.
