ENERCON signed its first German wind-storage deals with Planungsbüro Düser GmbH, combining wind turbines with battery energy storage systems in two hybrid projects. The Möhnesee-Westrich scheme pairs a 5MW/10MWh battery with two E-138 EP3 E3 wind turbines totaling 8.52MW, while the Soest-Meiningsen project integrates a 15MW/30MWh battery with one operational E-138 EP3 turbine and one future E-160 EP5 turbine planned for 2028, totaling 9.82MW. Both projects are scheduled for commissioning in Q1 2027. The partnership leverages ENERCON's hybrid control technology to optimize grid and market applications.
