Entr and Unitech Power Systems awarded contract by Nadara for Bellrock offshore wind electrical infrastructure studies

Entr and its subsidiary Unitech Power Systems were awarded a contract by renewable energy producer Nadara to conduct electrical infrastructure studies for the 1.8 GW Bellrock offshore wind farm. The studies will develop a high‑level transmission concept, evaluating inter‑array cables, offshore and onshore substations, export cables and grid integration for the project off Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The work will deliver cost, schedule and supply‑chain insights to support procurement planning and reduce development risk ahead of the project's consent and investment decision stages. The contract underscores Nadara’s strategy to accelerate floating offshore wind development and leverages Aker Solutions’ deep electrical engineering expertise through its Entr arm. The agreement was announced on 16 July 2026, with Aker Solutions identified as the parent company of both Entr and Unitech Power Systems.
