Envision Energy and AMEA Power sign agreement for Egypt's Amunet II 500MW wind project

During the Africa Energy Forum (AEF) 2026, Envision Energy and AMEA Power formalized a strategic partnership to develop Egypt's Amunet II 500MW wind project. The agreement follows the successful commissioning of AMEA Power's 500MW Ras Ghareb wind farm in June 2025, which became Africa's largest wind facility. Upon completion, Amunet II will expand AMEA Power's Egyptian wind portfolio to 1GW, aligning with Egypt's renewable energy transition goals. Envision Energy highlighted the collaboration's scalability and global execution capabilities to deliver clean energy solutions across the MENA region. The partnership reinforces investor confidence in utility-scale renewable projects while creating economic and social value for Egypt.
