Eos Energy Enterprises and CAPAC Energy (formerly Nala Energy GmbH) executed a binding master supply agreement establishing an exclusive partnership for large-scale zinc battery storage deployment across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH region). The agreement commits CAPAC Energy as Eos' exclusive distribution partner with a 750MWh capacity commitment, scalable up to 2GWh through 2031. CAPAC Energy is advancing construction of its first Eos projects in Germany, targeting commercial operations by late 2026. The partnership aims to enhance supply chain security and support European industrial capacity development, with potential local manufacturing and assembly operations in the EU. Nathan Kroeker, Eos' chief commercial officer, noted Germany's attractiveness for energy storage due to demand from data centers, industrial customers, and critical infrastructure requiring space, flexibility, and reliability.
