Equinor ASA launches 531 MW Mendubim solar plant in Brazil

Equinor, in a joint venture with Scatec ASA and Hydro Rein, has started commercial operations at the 531 MW Mendubim solar plant in Brazil, with 60% of output sold under a 20-year USD-denominated PPA to Alunorte which has also exercised a call option to take a 10% stake.
