Equipe srl acquires photovoltaic panel waste disposal contract from Puglian plant owner

Franco Bollori of Equipe srl has launched a new waste disposal business line, signing a contract to dismantle a Puglian photovoltaic plant with hundreds of panels. The agreement involves transporting panels ranging from 20 kilograms to 20 tonnes using Equipe's fleet of ten heavy trucks. Bollori's facility near Vicenza, a 6,000 square meter warehouse with an additional 6,000 square meters of storage, can accommodate up to 99,000 tonnes of end-of-life panels. The disposal price is approximately one euro per panel including aluminum frames, with the metal component valued separately at 2,300-2,400 euros per tonne. The remaining panel materials (glass, polymers, cells, contacts) are processed by a nearby partner company, with recycling pathways varying by firm.
