Equitix acquires second German residential solar portfolio from Enpal

Type: Acquisition · Technology: Solar · Country: Germany · Capacity: 240 MW · Announced: 2026-08-05

Equitix has acquired a second portfolio of residential decarbonisation systems from Enpal, expanding its investment in Germany's residential renewable energy sector. The portfolio includes approximately 17,300 operational residential energy systems across Germany, with an additional 6,400 systems expected to be deployed by June 2027. These assets includes rooftop solar, inverters, home battery systems, and electric vehicle chargers, with around 70% including battery storage and 40% including EV chargers. Once fully operational, the portfolio is projected to provide approximately 240 MW of renewable energy capacity, including 35 MW of retrofitted assets. Mizuho Leasing participated in the transaction, while existing partners MM Capital Partners and Keppel Infrastructure Trust remain involved, securing predictable cash flows from German homeowners and the country's robust feed-in-tariff regime.
