Esprinet awarded 147 MW photovoltaic module supply contract by FS Energy

Esprinet, the Lombard technology wholesale distributor, secured a restricted tender within FS Energy's qualification system to supply photovoltaic modules for 147 MW of capacity under a framework agreement valued at approximately 24 million euros. The agreement, signed in July 2025 upon FS Energy's establishment, includes a minimum guaranteed quantity of 60 MW (9.8 million euros) and spans 24 months with an optional 12-month extension. The modules will support FS Energy's national photovoltaic plant development pipeline, aligning with the group's target of installing 1.1 GW of renewable capacity by 2029 to meet 19% of Ferrovie dello Stato's total energy consumption. FS Energy, the group's dedicated energy subsidiary, was created to implement solar plants and optimize autoconsumption across the railway operator's portfolio.
