The Esslingen Municipal Transport Authority will receive 52 new battery-trolleybuses from Škoda as part of its goal to fully electrify its urban bus transport by the end of 2026. The first two vehicles have already been delivered to Esslingen. In parallel with the vehicle delivery, the city is expanding its overhead line network to support the new trolleybuses. This supply agreement is a key step in Esslingen's public transport electrification strategy.
