European Energy secured financing for the Winton North 130 MW solar and 100 MW/220 MWh battery project from Commerzbank AG Singapore Branch and Societe Generale. The hybrid renewable facility is located about 250 km northeast of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia. Construction has begun and the project is slated for completion in 2026. The financing enables European Energy to expand its diversified Australian portfolio and meet growing demand for flexible generation.
