European Energy sells 15MW Trinity Hall solar farm in UK to Elm Solar

Type: Sale · Technology: Solar · Country: United Kingdom · Capacity: 15 MWac · Announced: 2026-06-12

European Energy completed the sale of the 15MWac Trinity Hall solar farm in Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, to Elm Solar, an entity established for funds managed by Alpha Real Capital LLP. The project reached commercial operation earlier in 2026 and is supported by a long-term power purchase agreement with offtake covered by a corporate PPA. European Energy will continue providing asset management services for the solar park following the transaction. Construction of Trinity Hall Solar Farm began in the second half of 2025, with Nordea providing financing for the project. The divestment aligns with European Energy's business model of developing, constructing, and operating renewable energy projects before bringing in long-term owners and investors.
