Evren signs 750 MW hybrid renewable PPA with NTPC

Evren signed a 750 MW power purchase agreement with NTPC for a hybrid renewable energy project. The project will combine solar, wind and battery energy storage (BESS) installations across the states of Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan. When operational, the facility is projected to generate 2.5 billion units of clean electricity annually and avoid 1.8 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. The agreement expands Evren’s Indian portfolio to an 11 GW pipeline, of which more than 3.5 GW is already under construction. Backed by Brookfield, Evren’s ability to secure large‑scale PPAs underscores its growing role as a utility‑scale renewable developer in India.
