Firebird.ai launched a 300MW Nvidia-powered AI data center in Hrazdan, Armenia, through a $500 million public-private partnership with the Armenian government. The facility, built on Nvidia's DSX platform, will deploy over 70,000 Nvidia Rubin and Blackwell GPUs by the end of 2027, making it the largest AI data center in the Caucasus region. Nvidia and Dell Technologies are collaborating on the project, with Nvidia intending to invest in Firebird.ai, while Schneider Electric provided power infrastructure and Vertiv supplied cooling technology. The project, initially announced in June 2025 with 100MW capacity, received a $60 million investment from Ameriabank in March 2026 and secured a US export license for 41,000 Nvidia GB300 GPUs in February 2026. Firebird.ai aims to expand its global capacity to 2GW within two years, focusing on frontier markets.
