FirstLight signs PPA for 57.2 MW Fort Frances Solar Project in Ontario

FirstLight, a portfolio company of Public Sector Pension Investment Board, has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Ontario's Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) for the 57.2 MW Fort Frances Solar Project. The project, located in Ontario, Canada, is being developed in partnership with Lac Des Mille Lacs First Nation. This PPA formalizes the project's role in supplying new solar generation to Ontario's grid, following its contract award through Ontario's Long-Term 2 procurement process. The Fort Frances Solar Project is one of 14 projects awarded contracts by the IESO, collectively representing over 1.3 GW of new clean electricity supply for the province.
