Ford and Geely announced a joint venture to produce vehicles at the Valencia plant, with Ford holding a 66% stake and Geely 34%. The venture will utilise the existing Valencia facility, which can build up to 500,000 vehicles per year, and aims to commence operations in the first half of 2027. Production of the first jointly developed models is scheduled for 2028, including a compact Bronco derivative and two battery‑electric SUVs from Geely.
