Fuse Energy acquired the fully consented 20 MW Cwm Ifor Solar Farm from Caerphilly County Borough Council in Wales, marking a strategic expansion of its renewable energy portfolio. The project, located near Caerphilly, South Wales, is expected to connect to the grid in December 2026 and generate enough clean electricity to power approximately 6,000 homes annually. Fuse Energy plans to develop the project using its in-house engineering, procurement, and construction capabilities, aiming for a 30% lower cost per MW peak than the industry average based on prior experience.
