Futureal Group and Mithra Energy have sold a 438 MW battery energy storage project located in Trębaczew, Poland, to ENGIE. The project has secured a final and legally binding building permit and is slated to connect to the Polish electricity grid by the end of 2029. ENGIE will be responsible for the management, engineering, and construction activities for the project's delivery. This transaction is part of Futureal and Mithra Energy's broader development of nearly 3 GW of battery storage projects in Poland, with approximately 1.5 GW scheduled to connect to the grid by the end of 2027.
