Gülermak Renewables secures PLN 152.9 million financing for 62.7 MW Polish solar portfolio
Type: Financing · Technology: Solar · Country: Poland · Capacity: 62.7 MW · Value: PLN 152.9M · Announced: 2026-09-02
Gülermak Renewables closed PLN 152.9 million (£30.4 million) in non-recourse project financing for a 62.7 MW solar portfolio in Poland, marking the financial close of Project Vistula. The financing supports five under-construction solar assets—Brodnica I & II (49 MW combined), Glinnik I & II (8.7 MW), and Powidz (5 MW)—with Powidz expected to enter commercial operation first in 2026. The portfolio is backed by Poland’s government-backed Contract for Difference framework, ensuring revenue stability for the projects. Brodnica and Powidz also secured a multi-site route-to-market agreement with Hekla Energy, valid until 2030, covering power sales for these assets. The transaction establishes a financing framework Gülermak Renewables plans to replicate for future projects in Poland and other European markets, aligning with its 400+ MW pipeline of solar, wind, and battery storage assets.
