Gentari Australia signs EPC contract with PCL Construction for Maryvale solar-plus-storage project

Gentari Australia awarded an EPC contract to PCL Construction for the 243 MWp Maryvale Solar and Energy Storage Project. The project integrates a 172 MW/409 MWh LFP battery in a DC‑coupled configuration on a 360‑hectare site near Dubbo, NSW. Construction was completed in under a year, reaching mechanical completion in August 2026. The deal positions Gentari’s Australian portfolio at 814 MW of utility‑scale solar and hybrid assets across NSW, Queensland and Victoria. PCL Construction will deliver engineering, procurement and construction services alongside partners SOLMECH, Nextpower, Stralis Energy, All Energy Contracting, EPEC Group and Essential Energy.
