Glamox to supply marine lighting for Formosa 4 Offshore Wind Farm in Taiwan

Lighting specialist Glamox has secured a contract to provide marine lighting for the Formosa 4 offshore wind farm in Taiwan. Glamox will supply 900 specialized marine lights for the transition pieces of 35 wind turbines, illuminating both the interior and exterior components. The lights, including variants of Glamox's MIR G2 and FL60 LED floodlights, are designed to withstand harsh marine conditions and seawater exposure. The lighting for the transition pieces is scheduled for delivery in August 2026, with fabrication by Century Wind Power (CWP) in Taiwan and SK oceanplant in Korea. This agreement supports the Formosa 4 project, which is expected to generate approximately 495 megawatts of green electricity annually, powering around 500,000 households.
