Goodman Australia Industrial Partnership (GAIP), the largest property fund of ASX-listed Goodman Group, agreed to acquire Washington H. Soul Pattinson and Co.'s interests in selected industrial partnerships for approximately A$2.65 billion ($1.85 billion). GAIP will pay A$2.3 billion ($1.61 billion) while Goodman Group contributes A$350 million ($245 million), increasing its ownership in key logistics assets. The transaction includes GAIP acquiring Brickworks' 50% stake in the BGAI partnership, raising its ownership to 100%, and securing 50% interests in Oakdale West Trust (90% total) and Oakdale East Trust (100%). The portfolio spans 14 million square feet of logistics infrastructure across Sydney and Brisbane, including Oakdale Industrial Estates and Interlink Distribution Centres. Completion is expected by late June 2026, funded through capital recycling and existing liquidity. The deal builds on Goodman's 2005 partnership with Brickworks, which has created a A$5 billion ($3.5 billion) logistics portfolio.
