Goodman Group successfully raised $455 million in equity to fund the mechanical and electrical fit-out of HKG10, a new data center within its Hong Kong Data Centre Partnership (GHKDCP) located in Tsuen Wan. The facility will be situated in an existing Goodman warehouse, leveraging the building's existing structure to reduce embodied carbon from demolition and new construction materials like concrete and steel. First capacity is slated for early 2028, with the project forming part of a portfolio that will eventually includes six assets delivering a total of 180MW of IT capacity. The capital raise included participation from existing investors and new contributors such as PGGM, APG, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, CBRE Investment Management, and an unnamed Middle Eastern sovereign wealth partner. This funding round follows Goodman's launch of the $2.7 billion investment partnership in July 2025, underscoring strong institutional confidence in Hong Kong's digital infrastructure demand. Australian developer Goodman now operates over 500MW of stabilized data center capacity across its Asia platform in Hong Kong and Japan, with an additional 150MW under active construction.
