Gotion is supplying lithium-iron-phosphate battery cells for Slate Auto's electric pickup trucks. These cells are assembled into 65 kilowatt-hour battery packs in Illinois. Slate Auto plans to deliver its first vehicles, including the Blank Slate base model, Squareback wagon, and Fastback SUV variants, by the end of the year. The Blank Slate is priced at $24,950, with the SUV variants costing $29,950 and $31,950 respectively. The battery packs are then shipped to Slate's assembly plant in Warsaw, Indiana.
