The Government of The Bahamas, through its Ministry of Energy and Bahamas Power and Light, adopted a standardized solar power purchase agreement template, negotiated dozens of new solar PPAs with developers (mostly 51% Bahamian-owned), and tabled those PPAs in Parliament to increase transparency and speed up deal closure.
