Green Capital and Prime Capital signed strategic agreements to jointly develop a 300 MW / 1,200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio in Poland. Prime Capital acquired a 50% stake in one advanced-stage project, with construction scheduled to begin in Q2 2026. The companies also agreed to jointly develop a second large-scale project, expected to reach ready-to-build status by the end of 2026. Both projects have secured 17-year capacity market contracts, providing fixed availability payments for their storage capacity. The portfolio will play a crucial role in balancing Poland's national grid and accelerating the country's energy transition.
