green flexibility development gmbh acquired a portfolio of utility‑scale battery energy storage projects from Kajoni Energie GmbH, comprising roughly 750 MW of power and 3 GWh of storage capacity. The projects are currently undergoing the maturity assessment procedure for extra‑high‑voltage grid connections in Germany. Following potential approval by the transmission system operator, Kajoni will continue development until construction readiness, after which green flexibility will assume implementation, operation, and marketing. The acquisition strengthens green flexibility’s position in the German electricity system by adding material battery storage assets that can enhance renewable integration and grid efficiency. Watson Farley & Williams advised green flexibility on the transaction, handling legal and regulatory aspects of the deal.
