Greendat Capital has filed a Manifestación de Impacto Ambiental regional (MIA-R) for the Planta Solar Fotovoltaica Cañada y El Encino, a 125.552 MWp photovoltaic project with 30 MW / 90 MWh battery storage in Irapuato, Guanajuato. The 212.12-hectare facility will utilize 171,990 modules across 244.37 total hectares and connect to the grid via a 15.95 km transmission line to SET Irapuato at 115 kV. Construction is projected to employ 150-200 temporary workers, with 10-20 permanent operations staff, and the project carries a 25-year operational lifespan with potential extension through equipment renewal. Greendat Capital maintains three additional photovoltaic storage projects in Mexico at various stages: Santos in Nuevo León, La Morita I in Nuevo León, and Rancho Empacadora I in Tamaulipas.
