GreenGo and Alfa Acciai sign PPA for 300 GWh/year, enabling 70 MW of new renewable capacity
Type: Ppa · Technology: Solar · Country: Italy · Capacity: 70 MW · Announced: 2026-03-19
GreenGo and Alfa Acciai signed a power purchase agreement under the Energy Release 2.0 mechanism, enabling the development of 70 MW of new renewable capacity to supply approximately 300 GWh annually from 2025 to 2027. Of the 70 MW, 35 MW will be developed under a 20-year CfD at 65€/MWh awarded by GSE, while the remaining 35 MW will be commercialized via private corporate or virtual PPAs by GreenGo. The 300 GWh/year supply covers 30% of Alfa Acciai’s total electricity consumption, supporting its industrial operations in Italy. This agreement contributes to GreenGo’s total contracted renewable capacity of 350 MW, with 323.5 MW backed by public incentive schemes managed by GSE.
