Greenvolt Power signed an EPC contract with P&Q to build the 200 MW / 800 MWh Turośń Kościelna battery energy storage system near Białystok, Poland. The site spans 35,000 sq m and will host 196 containerised battery modules and 49 transformer stations. Construction will connect the BESS to the 110 kV transmission network and retain over 70% of the land as biologically active. The facility is slated to begin capacity market participation in 2028 under a 17‑year contract with a 170 MW obligation. The EPC deal underpins Greenvolt’s strategy to expand utility‑scale storage across its 13‑country pipeline.
