Greenvolt Power signs 10-year tolling agreement with Statkraft for 400 MW / 1,600 MWh Polish battery portfolio

Greenvolt Power signed a 10-year tolling agreement with Statkraft covering two battery energy storage projects totalling 400 MW / 1,600 MWh in Poland on 29 September 2026. The deal covers the 200 MW / 800 MWh Ełk project in Nowa Wieś Ełcka and the 200 MW / 800 MWh Turośń Kościelna project, each with a four-hour storage duration. Statkraft will manage charging and discharging across energy and flexibility markets and provide market optimisation and revenue stacking for the assets. Greenvolt Power will retain project ownership and benefit from long-term tolling revenue in addition to payments Greenvolt already secured via Poland’s capacity market. The agreement is Statkraft’s first large-scale battery storage contract in Poland and complements its existing third-party wind and solar portfolio, enabling more competitive pricing for energy-intensive off-takers.
