GreenYellow and Giva sign 20-year Energy as a Service agreement for 11 MWp solar PV in Italy
Type: Ppa · Technology: Solar · Country: Italy · Capacity: 11 MWp · Announced: 2026-07-21
French IPP GreenYellow and Giva, an industrial group specializing in steel products, have signed a 20-year "Energy as a Service" agreement in Italy. The agreement covers two existing self-consumption solar power plants, ground-mounted and rooftop, located at Giva's industrial sites in Lombardy. These installations have a combined installed capacity of 11 MWp and will produce 15.5 GWh of 100% self-consumed renewable electricity annually. This production will cover approximately 50% of the energy needs of the two industrial sites, avoiding over 6,500 tons of CO₂ emissions each year.
