Grenergy signs 15-year PPA with Codelco for 0.5 TWh annual renewable supply in Chile

Grenergy signed a 15‑year power purchase agreement with Chilean copper miner Codelco to deliver 0.5 TWh of renewable electricity each year. The energy will be supplied through Grenergy’s hybrid platform, including the 340 MW Monte Águila solar plant equipped with battery storage (BESS). The PPA will commence in January 2026 and run until 2040, providing 24/7 renewable power to Codelco’s operations. This contract expands Grenergy’s portfolio in Chile, adding to its existing Oasis de Atacama and Elena battery projects. The deal was executed via Grenergy’s commercial subsidiary GR Power Chile, highlighting the company’s integrated development and off‑take capabilities.
