Grupo Ingka acquires two solar parks in Spain

Grupo Ingka, the retailer behind Ikea, has acquired its first two solar parks in Spain, marking a material expansion of its renewable energy presence in the Iberian Peninsula. The acquired solar park in Villasequilla (Toledo) is already operational and generates approximately 51 GWh annually, while the second park in Los Alcázares (Murcia) will add another 55 GWh per year. Together, these parks will produce 106 GWh of renewable energy annually, contributing to Spain's growing local energy production capacity. This acquisition is part of Grupo Ingka's global renewable energy portfolio, which has already seen €4.3 billion invested.
