Spanish developer Grupo Negratín announced the closing of project finance for a 39 MWp solar portfolio in Colombia's Meta department. The transaction was structured with Banco de Bogotá and Findeter, Colombia's territorial development bank, using a non-recourse project finance model. The projects will occupy approximately 50 hectares and are backed by a 15-year power purchase agreement. This marks the second closing for Negratín in Colombia, following the 13.67 MWp Alma 2 project in Arauca that entered operation in November 2025. Negratín, which also serves as EPC contractor and operator, aims to reach 300 MWp of operational projects in Colombia by 2030.
