Harmony Energy and Igneo Infrastructure Partners formed a joint venture to develop the 150 MW Tauhei Solar Farm in New Zealand. The solar farm spans 182 hectares near Hamilton on the North Island and will generate about 280 GWh annually. Construction began 15 months ago and the project was energised two months after the final panel installation. The partnership positions both companies to expand their renewable portfolios ahead of the October 2026 commercial launch. No financial terms were disclosed, and the announcement was made on 15 July 2026.
