OB Streem, the investment platform of HIG Capital, completed the acquisition of Med Frigo, a Greek cold‑chain logistics provider, on 13 July 2026. Med Frigo operates refrigerated facilities and a fleet that transport fresh fish from Greece’s largest aquaculture producers to markets across Europe. The combined platform now generates more than $500 million in revenue and operates in eight countries, expanding OB Streem’s presence in the European food‑logistics sector. The transaction follows OB Streem’s recent appointment of Alexandros Karafillides as chief executive and a financing round secured from a consortium of European banks.
