HVR Solar signs supply and partnership agreements for 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh

HVR Solar, a Delhi-based solar module manufacturer and EPC services provider, announced plans to establish a 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility in Amroha district, Uttar Pradesh. The project includes memorandums of understanding with three technology and equipment partners: Shenzhen Han’s Photovoltaic Equipment Co., Ltd., a China-based supplier of precision manufacturing tools for high-throughput PV factories; Gentech Technology (Huzhou) Co. Ltd., a Chinese industrial technology firm specializing in PV production automation; and IndyGreen Technologies, an India-based clean energy engineering company providing EPC and project execution support. The Amroha facility is expected to generate over 500 local jobs and marks a material expansion in HVR Solar’s high-efficiency solar cell manufacturing capabilities. This initiative aligns with HVR Solar’s broader capacity-building roadmap, which includes the upcoming commissioning of a 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Sonipat, Haryana, scheduled for June 2026. The Sonipat plant, located on a 6.5-acre site near Murthal, will produce TOPCon and heterojunction (HJT) solar modules, further strengthening India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem.
