Igneo Infrastructure Partners is expanding its waste management portfolio by acquiring a majority stake in Neumann Group, a German incinerated bottom ash (IBA) recycling platform. Neumann Group provides essential services to energy-from-waste operators by processing approximately 1.5 million tonnes of residual ash annually, recovering valuable raw materials and secondary construction materials. Igneo will become the majority shareholder alongside the company's CEO and co-owner, André Hartl, and the existing management team. The acquisition is financed through commitments from Igneo's European Diversified Infrastructure Strategy, which targets high-quality infrastructure businesses with strong growth potential. Neumann Group holds a market-leading position in a sustainable growth segment, supported by long-standing customer relationships and technical expertise.
