Type: Financing · Technology: Solar, Storage · Country: United Kingdom · Capacity: 400 MWp · Announced: 2026-06-22
Pathfinder Clean Energy (PACE) secured a €100 million convertible bond investment from INFRAGREEN V, the flagship infrastructure fund managed by RGREEN INVEST, to fund the construction of nearly 400 MWp of solar capacity and over 200 MW of battery energy storage projects across the UK. The financing supports PACE’s transition from a developer to an owner and operator of clean energy assets, building on a partnership established in 2025. PACE currently operates eight UK projects totaling 250 MWp that secured inflation-linked Contracts for Difference under Allocation Round 7, combining solar PV and battery storage through a co-location strategy. The company also maintains a global development pipeline exceeding 3 GW across the UK and international markets, including clean data center projects. RGREEN INVEST’s continued commitment underscores confidence in PACE’s disciplined execution and high-quality project pipeline, with the investment enabling accelerated delivery of solar and co-located battery storage assets.
