Inox Clean Energy acquires Vena Energy India's 5.4 GW renewable energy and 2.5 GWh BESS platform

Inox Clean Energy, through its subsidiary Inox Neo, completed the acquisition of 100% of Vena Energy India, Vena Group’s India renewable energy platform. The transaction includes 1 GW of operational solar and wind capacity, 1.7 GW of advanced-stage solar and wind projects, and 1.2 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) assets, along with 2.7 GW of solar and wind projects and 1.3 GWh of BESS capacity in development. The platform employs approximately 80 employees with expertise in development, commercial, operational, and technical roles across India’s renewable energy market. Vena Energy India holds long-term power offtake agreements with major public-sector and commercial customers, including Solar Energy Corp. of India (SECI), Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL), commercial and industrial (C&I) consumers, and state distribution companies. Upon completion, Inox Clean Energy’s operational and near-operational portfolio will expand to around 4 GW, with a development pipeline exceeding 12 GW across solar and wind and 2.5 GWh of BESS capacity.
