Intermoor secured a three-year contract from Petrobras to deliver inspection, preservation, maintenance and operational readiness services for subsea interconnection, mooring and anchoring equipment used in Brazil's offshore oil and gas operations. The scope covers visual and dimensional inspections, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant non‑destructive testing, cleaning, surface preparation, painting, repair, replacement and reconditioning of components such as chains, steel wire ropes, anchors, connectors and load collars. Intermoor will allocate 20,000 square metres at its Açu Port facility for temporary storage, identification, organisation and traceability of materials undergoing maintenance. This agreement marks the third Petrobras contract awarded to Intermoor within a twelve‑month period, expanding the company's role to include permanent mooring installation activities. The deal reinforces Intermoor's partnership with Petrobras and enhances control over asset readiness, quality and mobilisation planning for offshore projects.
