Angola’s rural electrification program, valued at approximately €1 billion ($1.16 billion), is being financed through an international bank syndicate with export credit agency backing covering most of the investment. The program aims to electrify 60 communities across six provinces via 46 autonomous solar-storage minigrids, benefiting over a million people.
