JinkoSolar signs 2-GW solar module supply agreement for Abu Dhabi's giga-scale renewable energy complex

JinkoSolar entered into a definitive supply agreement to deliver 2 GW of high-efficiency solar photovoltaic modules for Abu Dhabi's giga-scale renewable energy complex, marking one of the largest single-module procurement contracts in the Middle East and North Africa region. The modules will support Masdar's expansion of utility-scale solar capacity in the United Arab Emirates, contributing to the country's target of 14 GW of clean energy by 2030. The supply deal covers monocrystalline silicon modules with TOPCon technology, enabling higher energy yields in the region's arid climate conditions. Scheduled for phased delivery starting in Q4 2026, the modules will be deployed across multiple solar farms within the complex, including the 2 GW Al Dhafra Solar PV project. The transaction strengthens JinkoSolar's position as a key supplier to Masdar's growing portfolio of gigawatt-scale projects in the MENA region.
